Hi there,
My name is Krista and I started Ready to Roth so I could help people open Roth IRAs and build financial freedom.
I have over 5 years of experience in adult training and education, and through my own experiences I’ve realized just how complicated and unapproachable personal finance education is.
After graduating college with student debt, I knew I needed to understand personal finance better. I was a pretty good saver, but I still had so many questions:
- How do I start building credit?
- What’s the best approach to paying off student debt?
- Should I open a credit card? Which one?
- How do I start investing? What account do I open?
I started reading books and scouring the internet for personal finance advice, and I found so many conflicting articles and strategies. I kept reading and trying things out, which led to my lightbulb moment: it’s possible to actually make your money work for you and create lasting wealth just by using a few simple strategies.
Following this lightbulb moment, I raised my credit, set up automation on my bank accounts, and opened my first investment account – a Roth IRA. I also learned that the earlier you start investing and building credit, the better off you’ll be. I saw how I could benefit from the financial system instead of being taken advantage of by it, and so can you.
Through Ready to Roth I’m hoping to demystify the world of personal finance and investing to help you achieve your goals. I hope you enjoy!
